THE STARTING POINT

PCube Innovations lists Website Starter projects from R4 999, Business Website projects from R8 999 and E-commerce projects from R12 999. These are indicative once-off build prices, not national market averages. Content, functionality, integrations and support affect the final quotation; recurring provider costs can be separate.

What is included in the once-off website price?

A build price should describe the pages, design work, content responsibilities, contact options and testing included. Our Starter scope is a focused first website; a Business Website or online store includes a different set of capabilities. Compare the current pricing page before selecting a starting point.

A quotation confirms the exact deliverables. Additional pages, copywriting, photography, migration or custom functionality should be listed where needed rather than assumed included. Tax treatment and payment milestones must also be confirmed.

How much does a website cost per month?

A once-off build does not remove the costs of running a website. You may need domain renewals, hosting, email accounts, maintenance and third-party subscriptions. A store can also incur payment-processing charges. The applicable products and usage determine those costs.

Our maintenance plan is a separate service with an agreed work allowance and response windows. It is not a monthly repayment plan for the original build. Ask for each recurring item and its renewal date in writing.

  • Domain registration and renewal.
  • Hosting and business email where required.
  • Maintenance and content changes.
  • Platform, payment or messaging fees where applicable.

What changes the cost of an online shop?

Product count alone is not the whole scope. Variations, pricing rules, delivery zones, stock updates, payment account access and fulfilment steps affect the work required. Preparing product descriptions and licensed images also takes time.

Explain how an order should move from checkout to dispatch. We can then assess which steps fit a standard platform and which need a custom connection. Payment approval and settlement terms are controlled by the payment provider.

How can a small business keep the starting scope manageable?

Start with the services customers ask about most and one clear enquiry action. Use existing approved brand assets and prepare accurate content early. Add booking, customer accounts or custom automation in a later scoped phase if the initial business need does not require them.

Check ownership and access before choosing a quote. A low initial price can still involve renewals or platform restrictions. Ask how you would move the site, export content or change providers later.

PUT IT INTO PRACTICE

Your first-release checklist

  • Choose the essential pages and customer action.
  • Separate build costs from recurring services.
  • Confirm content and image responsibilities.
  • List payment, stock, booking or messaging connections.
  • Check account ownership, support and tax treatment.

What to measure

Start with your own baseline. These are definitions for your team to track, rather than promised improvements or industry benchmarks.

Once-off build total
The approved project fee for the agreed deliverables.
Recurring running costs
Hosting, renewals, support, subscriptions and usage charges applicable to your site.

Useful questions

How much does a small business website cost?

Our Website Starter projects begin at an indicative R4 999 once-off. Your quotation confirms page count, content, functionality and any separate ongoing charges.

Can I get a website and business email together?

We can review the website and email requirements together. Domain, hosting and mailbox fees are included only if explicitly confirmed in the quotation, with ownership and renewals agreed.
